I’m really not feeling very well, but I really feel the need to share something through this blog. I’m losing my voice periodically at the moment (which is a blessing for everyone), but it’s no fun for me because singing is 100% my favourite thing. Anyway, the next best thing is actually listening to the songs that I usually drown out. I haven’t shared any #RecoveryAnthems for a few weeks (though I did write a master list a couple of weeks back!)

As music is pretty much one of the most important things in my life I thought I’d share a few songs that have been helping me plod through October… apparently I’ve been loving some old school stuff lately, a lot of female vocals and of course the artists that always make it on my playlist (Gabrielle Aplin/Demi Lovato/T Swizzle*).
I definitely suggest thinking about your own list of songs (recovery anthems) that help you when things are feeling a little tough. This past week my endless list making and song gathering has worked wonders for me. Anyway, here are the songs that are saving me butt at the moment:
- Mistake – Demi Lovato
- Let It Rain – JoJo
- Stone Cold – Demi Lovato
- Save the Hero – Beyoncé
- Tell Tale Signs – Frank Turner
- Low – Lauren Aquilina
- Should’ve Been Us – Tori Kelly
- Never Get Enough – Lianne La Havas
- Fire and Rain – Birdy (this track will ALWAYS get me through tough times).
- Even If – Ella Eyre
- I Know Places – Taylor Swift
- Stranger Things Have Happened – Foo Fighters
- Runnin’ (Lose It All) – Naughty Boy / Beyoncé
- Light Up The Dark – Gabrielle Aplin
- Heavy Heart – Gabrielle Aplin
- Don’t Save Me – Haim
- Behind These Hazel Eyes – Kelly Clarkson
- Because of You – Kelly Clarkson
- If It Means a Lot to You – A Day To Remember
- Three Sisters – J. Tillman
- Dark Times – The Weeknd & Ed Sheeran
- November – Gabrielle Aplin
- Confident – Demi Lovato
- Trap Queen – Fetty Wap
- Comeback – Ella Eyre
- Big Bad World – Kodaline
- Broke – Lauren Aquilina
- Start Again – Gabrielle Aplin
- What Now – Rihanna
- Evaporate – Gabrielle Aplin
- Falling – Haim
- Let Go For Tonight – Foxes
- Keep Your Head Up – Ben Howard
- Life Support – Sam Smith
- O – Coldplay
I can’t stop adding songs haha! I’m getting very carried away, so I’ll just leave you with this:
