Blogging for Mind

I’m a huge supporter of Mind, the mental health charity and have regularly sought information and resources from their website – especially when I’ve really been struggling, and when I’ve wanted to understand my own mental illness. Which is why I reached out to them when they asked about how people use craft as a tool for coping. I felt very lucky and honoured when they asked me to blog for them, and today Mind published my blog over on their website.

In the blog I talk about how I’ve utilised different creative activities as a tool for my own recovery, including colouring, scrap-book making, knitting and more.

Crafting is a fantastic coping strategy for me, which is why I’ve decided to use my voice and support Mind‘s upcoming Crafternoon fundraising campaign.
